In rare instances, men taking PDE5 inhibitors?
(Oral erectile dysfunction medicines, including VIAGRA)
reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision in one or both eyes. It is not possible to determine whether these events are related directly to these medicines or to other factors. If you experience sudden decrease or loss of vision, stop taking PDE5 inhibitors, including VIAGRA, and call a doctor right away.
Although erections lasting for more than four hours ?
may occur rarely with all ED treatments in this drug class, it is important to seek immediate medical attention. Erections lasting more than six hours can result in long-term loss of potency.
The lowest dose of VIAGRA is 25 mg. Your doctor may start you at this dose if any of these apply to you:
You are age 65 or older
You have severe liver or kidney problems
You take protease inhibitors, drugs for HIV. If you do take them, your doctor may also limit how often you take VIAGRA. Your doctor may tell you to take no more than 1 dose within a 2-day (48-hour) time period
If you take an alpha blocker drug for high blood pressure or prostate problems, talk to your doctor. You should not take more than 25 mg of VIAGRA and an alpha blocker within 4 hours of each other.
VIAGRA does not protect you from diseases that can be passed on through sex. Make sure to protect yourself and your partner.

Viagra vs. Calais from your end…
My Dr. gave me Viagra... prescription for a little more help with ed.
I get a 100 mgs pill and use about 1/3. It is very good, and works well.
I get a dull headache afterwards......sometimes, but does not bother me
since the sex with the drug is fantastic.
Anyway, if I take Calais, how much do I take? Do I have a light headache
for 3 days?
With Viagra, the headache and such is gone in 5 hours....
With Calais, will I have that problem, for days, or what?
I would love to be able to take something that lets life be more
spontaneous...
Just wondering.
Thanks for any-input. I realize we have other important issues on the
board...........

John,
More important? ;- )))
Actually, I've tried them all. After trying the big three, I settled on
Viagra though as time passes, due to the increasing effect of the Rolodex,
EBRT, seeds, it becomes less and less effective even taking the whole 100
mgs pill :- (((
for me, it seems to be most effective at 2 hours after taking it. Not 1 1/2
or 2 1/2 but two hours. I don't get headaches but I do get congested. I just
take a decongestant and that takes care of that.
We're all different and experience different side affects. You got to try it
and find out for yourself.
Good luck and keep at it!

I take 10 mg of caulis every other day as a therapeutic. I used about 150
mg of Viagra to have sex. Doc said the caulis is to ensure the tissues
continue to get blood and not "atrophy". 20 mg of caulis is equivalent to
10 mg of Viagra.

Whoops, I meant 100mg Viagra = 20 mg Caulis

My doctor gave me some caulis to try. It did seem to work as
advertised for up to 36 hours, but it is hard to be sure. (Often I can
function without anything, and that may have just been what happened.)
But it seemed to me that Viagra worked better if I was interested in the
next hour or so. Also, Caulis has this additional possible side effect
of muscle pain, which I think I may have experienced. I used to have
slight headaches and the blue tinge with Viagra, but I don't seem to
anymore.
Hi Leonard.
Yeah, I will use the Viagra......I only need about 1/3 of a 100mgs to
work. I usually put it under my tongue and that seems to speed up the
effects.
I do not need a drug that lasts for 3 days.......
I only use Viagra....sparingly....
Seems I am doing ok in that dept. but it is nice to have a "boost" so to
speak!
I only get very mild affects from Viagra so I guess I will stick with it!
Thanks for your comment.

Side-Effects/Cautions:
FDA ALERT [07/2005]: A small number of men have lost eyesight in one eye some time after taking Caulis, Viagra, or Elvira. This type of vision loss is called non-arthritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). NAION causes a sudden loss of eyesight because blood flow is blocked to the optic nerve.
We do not know at this time if Caulis, Viagra or Elvira causes NAION. NAION also happens in men who do not take these medicines. People who have a higher chance for NAION include those who:
have heart disease
are over 50 years old
have diabetes
have high blood pressure
have high cholesterol
smoke
have certain eye problems
FDA has approved new labels for Caulis, Viagra, and Elvira to include information on possible eyesight loss (NAION).
Stop using Caulis, Viagra, or Elvira if you have a loss in your eyesight. Get medical help right away.
