About Adipex
Adipex-P is a medicine containing Phentermine, an appetite suppressant which, combined with excersize and diet, is used to lose weight. Phentermine works by affecting your brain, causing it to decrease your apetite. It may also have other uses as instructed by your doctor.
Usage
Adipex-P comes as a capsule that is taken orally. It should be taken according to your doctor's directions, usually one or three times a day for 3 to 6 weeks. Adipex-P should be taken half an hour before a meal. Do not take a dose higher or lower than your prescribed amount. Do not stop taking Adipex-P without consulting your doctor. If you forget to take a dose take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose take it and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take more than your usual dosage to make up for a missed one. Do not take it if it's expiration date has passed.
Side effects
Adipex-P may cause the following side effects: constipation, diarrhea, nausia, a dry mouth and vomiting. Notify your doctor if these symptoms should persist. Other rarer side effects may include an irregular heartbeat, chest pain, insomnia, breathing difficulties, fever, swelling, tremors, dizziness and restlessness. If any of these symptoms should appear contact your doctor immediately!
Storage
Adipex-P should be kept tightly closed in the container it came in. It should
be kept at room's temperature. Avoid storing it near heat or light.
